Hi, I'm David! Thanks for stopping by! Here's the story:
Born in Buffalo, NY before making the big leap allllllllll the way next door to Rochester, NY--I've been performing from the day I was born! More specifically, I caught the ever-contagious, hopelessly irreversible theatre bug in the third grade when I took to the stage in Geva Theater's 2012 production of A Raisin In The Sun. From there, the symptoms--ranging from the compulsion to paradiddle everywhere I go, to the inexplicable urge to sing every single sentence that leaves my mouth--only grew stronger, eventually leading me to pursue my BFA in Music Theatre at the University of Buffalo, Class of '23.
Since graduating, I've learned not only the importance of keeping my technique sharp and my performance grounded; but I've also embraced the beauty and the freedom that comes with allowing myself to always find joy in every experience, and to always bring David into every performance! Now, a hopeful (and geographically challenged) resident of New York City, I am determined to challenge myself and evolve into a being that continues to surprise myself in ways beyond the scope of my imagination! As a creative entity, my ultimate dream is to become the Queer, Black (and yes, left-handed) body I always longed to look up to when I was younger. The thought of being a small stitch in the quilts of young stars everywhere has allowed me to achieve things and exist in ways I once never thought was possible. Today I remain endlessly grateful for all that has been, and unspeakably excited for all that is to come!

This past season of theatre has been an absolute joy, filled with incredible opportunities that have both nourished the soul and humbled the body! I am currently performing in the Musicalfare regional production of Hairspray in the ensemble, running through May 24th at Shea's 710! Before that, I also performed in their production of White Christmas in the ensemble also at Shea's 710! I also recently performed with 2nd Generation Theatre in their production of Mamma Mia! as Eddie at Shea's 710, as well as their production of Urinetown as Tiny Tom at Shea's Smith!
I've also been fortunate enough to do some pretty cool stuff off the stage as well! I recently modeled for a photoshoot with Cool Story Buffalo x AJW for their newest collection of handmade clothing, jewelry and other things you can wear! On your body! I also recently got the opportunity to photograph with Mark Duggan (@vanityisfair) to create some unapologetically queer art that can only be described as equal parts queer and artistic! Most importantly--I've become a pretty solid sourdough chef and jam maker, if I do say so myself. We'll chat.
The biggest of big moves however--has been my recent relocation to NEW YORK CITY!! The Big Apple's latest resident, I can likely be spotted either struggling to navigate the subway system, or catching my breath as I embrace the joy of what they call "walking".
